Russian Salads: Vinegret

  Vinegret is one of popular Russian salads and it's easy and fast to prepare.

  You will need:
2  medium beets boiled,
4  medium potatoes boiled ,
3  pickled cucumbers ,
2 carrots boiled ,
1 medium herring fillet
 Vegetable oil and salt to taste.
Parsley for decoration
 
  Preparation:
 Boil all vegetables and let them cool down and then peel. Chop beets, 
potatoes, cucumbers, carrots. Cut herring fillet in a small pieces,  add to the vegetables. Mix all.
Season with vegetable oil . Add salt to your taste. Decorate with parsley.
 Served
Vinegret   as an appetizer or as a main dish.
