Russian Pastry: Roll with Poppy Seeds

Roll with poppy seeds

 You will need:

2 cups milk;

1 egg;

100 grams butter;

4 tsp yeast;

Salt to taste;

1/2 cup sugar;

1 cup poppy seeds;

1 cup of raisins.

   Preparation:

   Dissolve the yeast in lightly warm milk. Add egg, butter, salt and knead the dough.

 
  Pour boiling water into poppy seeds to cover and let stand for a few minutes, then rotate through the mincer. Add sugar and raisins, mix.
 
   Roll the dough in a round, cover with poppy seeds and roll in a tube. Bake at 350F till golden brown.
