Sturgeon Baked with Cheese

 Sturgeon Baked with Cheese is an old Russian dish and it will decorate any holiday table.


  You will need:

1 lb sturgeon;
4 yolks of hard boiled eggs;
1 c sour cream;
1 tbsp butter;
1/2 c dried and finely ground bread crumbs;
1 c grated cheese;
2 Tb vegetable oil;
1/2 lemon;
1 carrot;
1 parsley root;
1 bay leaf;
salt, pepper, greens to taste.

 Preparation:

 Boil sturgeon in pan with carrot, parsley root, bay leaf, pepper and salt for 15 minutes.

 Cut sturgeon into slices, salt and put in a fridge for 2 hours.

 Whip yolks of hard boiled eggs with sour cream and butter.

 Put fish in a pan, cover with liquid, sprinkle with bread crumbs. Add lemon juice and vegetable oil. Cover dish with cheese.

 Put the pan in a hot oven for 20 minutes. Decorate Sturgeon Baked with cheese  with lemon and greens.

 Sturgeon can be served with fried or baked potatoes or rice.
