Russian Pastry: Flaky Pastry with Cherry

Flaky Pastry with Cherry Recipe

   You will need:

500 g flaky pastry
dough;

200g cherries (fresh or frozen);

5 Tbsp sugar;

4 tsp starch.

    Preparation:

 
Sprinkle cherry with sugar and leave for 20-30 minutes. Then drain juice, you will not need it.

  Roll  dough
approximately 0.3 cm of thickness, then cut into rectangles.

  Put cherry on each rectangle. Then 
sprinkle cherry with 0.5 tsp starch.

  Make pastry and put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.

  Place baking sheet in a
preheated 350F oven.

  Bake
Flaky Pastry with Cherry
until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
