Russian Desserts: Сhocolate Сake

Сhocolate Сake Recipe

    You will need:

110 g softened butter;

220 g sugar;

1/2 tsp vanilla extract;

2 eggs;

150g flour;

30 g cocoa powder;

2 tsp baking powder;

125 ml milk;

250 g mascarpone or cream cheese;

60g
powdered sugar;

220ml cream;

200g chocolate
icing.


  Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350C. Cover 2 cake forms with baking paper.
  
Whisk butter, sugar and vanilla extract until it is fluffy and creamy.

Add eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth.
 
In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and milk. Then add to the previous

mixture.

Fill in cake forms with dough and bake crusts for about 30-35 minutes. Let them to cool off.

   Whisk mascarpone with cream and powdered sugar, then cover the first crust with it. Put another crust on the top.

   At the end, cover
Сhocolate Сake with  chocolate icing.
