Russian Desserts: Apple Pie
Apple Pie recipe:
  You will need:
 Sour-sweet apples - 1 kg;
 Sugar - 400 g;
 Butter or margarine - 200 g;
 Eggs - 5;
 Baking powder - 2 ts or 1 tsp baking soda mixed with 1 ts vinegar;
 Flour - 500-700 g;
Sour cream - 500 g.


  Preparation:
  200
of sugar mix with butter or margarine until white. Then add eggs and mix well. Add the flour and baking powder and knead the dough.
  For the filling: peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Put 2/3 of dough in a greased form and flatten it. Put layer of the apples.
Make ornaments of the remaining dough and put them on  apples.
  Bake Apple Pie for 30 minutes. While it's baking, make a cream: mix sugar and sour cream well. Pour cream over hot cake.
  Let Apple Pie to cool off before serving.
